A Question and A Ring

We're engaged! Peter popped the question and I said yes!

Peter switched around the words to a verse in 'Marry Me' by Train, a very romantic song we both love. Then, he got down on one knee. Swoon!

Here's what he sang:

"I'm clever if ever you'll figure out my deed.
To ask you in this most peculiar way.
From my heart I speak these timeless words
Please believe me when I say
Reach over on the table
And tell me if you're able to
Marry me....today and every day
Please marry me.. I've finally got the ring and I can't wait another day
Say you will ....Hmmmmm Say you willl hmmmmm"

The original song was a bonus track on Train's album from about two years ago. It's on YouTube here

Christmas Eve and Morning 2010

As always, start with the pics at the bottom and move your way up! At some point I'll remember how to do these things in order. By the end of the unwrapping process, there appeared to be more wrapping paper than anything else!
Mark's only nod to the weather - mittens with boardies!
The three 'kids' continuing through their HUGE stockings.
Unwrapping delights!

Stockings ready, set - unwrap!
There were pretty feet, sleepy teens, broad shoulders and a pair of legs.
A new tablecloth!
Good times on Xmas eve drinks.
We really were there!!!!
Laughs all around.
Under the tree.
Bikkies - gingerbread of course!
The well dressed tree - we almost ran out of floor space for all the gifts! (Partly because we had extras on Christmas morning, mostly because we are made for presents in our house!)
