some funnies from dinner last week

we all got together to farewell Em last Tuesday night (and discuss her waxed arms!!!). Here are some funnies from dinner.

Chloe: Yeah, the girls get pregnancy tests every two weeks.
Em: For free?

Dad: We're on this boat and it was floating
Joel: I hope to God it was floating!

Cooper has been in doggy training school
Joel/ Kelly W: Our dog has ADD. He's very excitable and needs to do things quickly or he gets bored.
Kelly S: A bit like his owner hey Joel???

Em (to aunch on the phone): I woke up and saw the missed call when I was asleep. I saw your missed call but I was still sleeping.
At the same time Brooke says: because it was only 10.30am and kelly chimes in with: because it was before midday!

Dad: Yes it must be summer over there because wimbledon has just finished.

Em wondering what she'll drive when she gets home is told "you can share the prado with Megs when you get back".

Em - lost already! You can just make out Em's shoes and backpack behind the opaque glass of customs, and her arm bent as she scratched her head in puzzlement. Em walked through and stopped dead in her tracks, head moving rapidly from side to side. We waited a bit and when she hadn't moved through I walked over and she was stuck - not sure which direction to turn in. One way had a sign for Diplomatic/ air crew passport holders the other way (not signed - let's give her that) was wide open, and with a nudge off she went in the right direction. At this point we thought not to remind her of how big heathrow is.

Emma has left the building! The second youngest chick has flown the co-op and gets on a plane shortly for London. Little does she know what lies ahead - nor do Londoners have any idea what's about to hit them!
