vintage snaps

same day still no clue as to the situation...........
Brad and what I think are Chooke's hands also getting in to the action

having just got hold of Glen's camera there I discovered a few oldies that hadn't been posted. I'm guessing this one is shortly after Glen and I moved in and obviously Kel, Mark and Megs just won something or are having a laugh at someone who has just done something very stupid.

Megs and one of her dancing gals. Notice that even from a distance Megs can spot a camera and cover

and again but this time with better smiles

Last Thursday night Megs danced in a north shore dance recital thingy. She was EXCELLENT and her performance was one of the best on the night. The chickies were hard to beat! Here's the dancing diva herself.

Glen recently competed in the Mini Mos Marathon - a 10 km road race through the hills of Mosman. If you don't think Mosman is hilly, try this at 8am on a Sunday down Prince Albert Avenue. He's the blur in black in the middle of the screen.

Dad resorts to actions..................

Dad trying to find the lingo of today's youth to describe a Jimi Hendrix song to people who barely remember the guy

was it Cooper or Joel? Joel swears it was the dog........................ whatever, noses needed to be covered (And I think that's Glen's rear)

on the June long weekend we all went up to McMasters beach for a family weekend away. We'd rented a house on the water. Little did we know the weather gods had other plans and the whole of the Newcastel/ Central Coast area was lashed by intense storms. It was wild and woolly and there WAS NO ELECTRICITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which is why in the snaps above you can see the dickie light being passed around as we played Articulate by candlelight. Megan quick, where does the Pope live? "Barcelona" was the answer....................... Aunch, don't be to disappointed (Aunch is a nun!)

The birthday girl and her man.

A couple of weeks ago Glen and Kelly went out with Glen's family for Sue's (Glen's sister) birthday lunch. We dined at the lovely Cafe Sydney where the spectacular view and divine food was unfortunately not matched by decent service. Nonetheless we had a blast even though the delicious deserts proved too much for Prue and Jake though this chocoholic conquered in the end.

Mum observing 3 of her daughters forget about dieting and enjoy the desert buffet - Meg's Baklava (Pronounced "bak-low-wei" with a growl :)- ) and kel's cheesecake

Monday night we got together as Aunch was in town. Yes it was Brooke and Glen’s birthdays but it was really all about Aunch.

BTW we had a GR8 time. Dad was LOL so much, it was like, hilar! Mum wanted to know WDSGAP when Aunch get a belated little something for Mother’s Day. (Aunt M yours is in transit!)

Yes acronyms were the flavour of the night. One entire 20minute conversation consisted of WTF, FYI, BTW etc etc. It was quite entertaining.

In true bimbo style I didn’t find my camera until just before Glen and I left so the happy snaps are a little jaded and I missed spirit fingers. However I redeemed myself on the desert side. With the addition of the missing ingredient to the cheesecake I managed to stop Dad in his tracks. He couldn’t finish his piece! I have NEVER seen my father not finish desert. Who knew 2 tablespoons of would make that much difference to a chocolate cheesecake already full of chocolate and cream!
